Peri-Apollar 360 Degree Lens Distortion Free Linear Mapping.

Abstract

Several methods, including fiber-optics are considered for producing a distortion free linear image transfer at both the optical probe and projection lens image planes of a 360 degree nonprogrammed visual display. A description of five methods is given and each alternative examined analytically. (Author)
