Helicopter Integrated Control (GAT-2H).

Abstract

Two experimental three-axis helicopter controls combining collective and cyclic functions into an optional one-handed controller were simulator flight tested and their performance, measured in energy-expended terms, was compared to conventional helicopter controls. The nature of the results indicate further development through flight testing should be undertaken. (Author)
