Laser Development in Support of the JUMPer Program for Laser Isotope Separation.

Abstract

This report covers in detail the research and development work carried out by M. I. T. Lincoln Laboratory for the U.S. Energy Research and Development Administration in support of the JUMPer program at the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. The topics covered include optically pumped gas lasers, frequency calibration of the CO2 laser, and microwave frequency shifting.
