Study of the Effects of Increased Costs on Corporate and Business Flying. Volume I. Executive Summary.

Abstract

The report, in four volumes, presents the results of research intended to enhance the utility of the original General Aviation Cost Impact Study (DOT-FA74WA-3118) by (1) identifying subcategories of business/corporate operators with varying effective after-tax sensitivities, (2) redefining the empirical cost impact relationships for business/corporate flying by using an expanded data base, and (3) providing information to permit greater insight into the nature of the business fleet by examining the financial characteristics of corporate owners.
