SEAFARER Site Survey, Upper Michigan REgion. Book 1. Introduction.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to provide a comprehensive environmental data base portraying all physical, biological, and socio-economic factors that should be considered in assessing the impact of the proposed Seafarer System on the environment. The environmental data covering several counties of the Upper Michigan state region have been grouped into nineteen distinct categories. Information pertaining to each category is published in a separate book. Each book, using a standard format, consists of seven major sections: Summary, Evolution, Distinctive Units and Characteristics, Relationships to Other Data, Validity, Bibliography and Appendices.
