Application of Wave Climatology and Data for Design,

Abstract

The importance of wave data for coastal engineering considerations is presented, including the gathering of data, definition and analysis of data, determination of the data needed, and the final application of the data to design and prediction. The importance and application of wave climate to the design of coastal structures are also discussed. (Author)
