USAF Propellant Handbooks. Nitric Acid/Nitrogen Tetroxide Oxidizers. Volume II.

Abstract

The Nitric Acid/Nitrogen Tetroxide Oxidizer Handbook is a compilation of engineering information on the physical and chemical properties, storage and handling, production, transportation, safety, and material compatibility of the nitric acid/nitrogen tetroxide family of oxidizers and their blends. It contains information on the following propellants: Nitric Acid (IRFNA), High Density Acid, Nitrogen Tetroxide, MON-1, MON-3, MON-10, MON-25, Minuteman Grade N2O4. The propellant handbook is intended to be used for R and D personnel and test engineers who are directly involved in the utilization of liquid rocket propellants and the design of liquid rocket propulsion systems and facilities.
