Evaluation of the Thermo-Jet Cutting Torch.

Abstract

The Thermo-Jet Cutting Torch is designed for cutting heavy metals and other materials (e.g. concrete) at rates faster than standard Oxy-arc. The system is electrically initiated and thermally propagated. After extensive testing, using eleven different operators, the system was found to be unsuited for fleet use at the present time.
