AN/SQS-23 (PAIR) Sonar Letter Report.

Abstract

The Navy Electronics Laboratory was requested to participate in the AN/SQS-23 Modernization Program (PAIR) by investigating the technical approach including the performance specification and project definition study and by taking the technical responsibility for the design review, the test program and certain aspects of the training. This is a report of that analysis. At this time several areas of work have not been analyzed to the complete satisfaction of NEL. Results of these studies may still be cause to modify the program at a later date.
