ASW Ship Command and Control System: Freeplay/ASW Exercise Test Plan.

Abstract

The Freeplay/ASW Exercise Test Plan was developed for the purpose of exercising the total operational computer program in representative tactical situations. More precisely, the objectives of the Freeplay/ASW Exercise Test were as follows: (a) confirm that the Operational Programs function during a typical ASW Exercise; (b) provide situations to permit users to form professional judgments as to acceptability of program features; and (c) provide potential situations for Executive Timing Test.
