Chemical Composition of Snow on the Water Surface of the Kama and Votkinsk Reservoirs (Khmicheskii Sostav Snega na Akvatorii Kamskogo i Votkinskogo Vodokhranilish),

Abstract

This article reports findings from an investigation of snow on the water surface of the Kama and Votkinsk reservoir conducted in the winter of 1961-63. The chemical composition of the sample was determined by the technique of Ye. S. Burkser, N. Ye. Fedorova and B. B. Zaydis. Observations made on these reservoirs made possible a rough calculation of the amount of salt arriving on the water surface. (Author)
