On the Computation of Optimal Approximations in Sard Corner Spaces.

Abstract

This investigation determined that use of the representers of point evaluation functionals can be used as a basis for some problems without encountering severe computational problems. For smooth approximations this is probably not generally true, however. In addition, local approximations must be investigated for smooth interpolation.
