High Speed Fabrication of Precision Optics.

Abstract

This study was an effort to reduce the time required to manufacture high quality military fire control lenses by utilizing high speed production techniques currently being used to produce medium quality optics. The effort was successful, and the results as well as the procedures for making the tools and using the techiques are summarized in this report.
