VELA Network Evaluation and Automatic Processing Research.

Abstract

This first quarterly report summarizes progress under the VELA Network and Automatic Processing Research Program. Work in the following areas is summarized: evaluation of ILPA and SRO data, development of detection methods, methods of extracting long-period event waveforms, interactive seismic signal processing, determining path corrections and extracting source, and parameters from long-period data.
