Engineering Design Handbook. Electromagnetic Compatibility

Abstract

The Engineering Design Handbook Series of the US Army Materiel Development and Readiness Command is a coordinated series containing basic information and fundamental data useful in the design and development of Army materiel and systems. The handbooks are authoritative reference books of practical information and quantitative facts helpful in the design and development of Army material. The purpose of this particular Handbook is to take the wealth of information accumulated by the Army over a period of years on the subject of electromagnetic compatibility and make this information available to the designer. In support of the design information, the Handbook contains discussion of electromagnetic field coupling mechanisms, nonlinear circuit effects, and statistical concepts necessary to an understanding of the phenomena involved.
