Raster Imaging Software. User's Guide.

Abstract

The Raster Imaging Software was developed to support raster plotting capabilities existing at RADC. The software consists of (1) interactive symbol and text placement capability which operates on the RADC Experimental Compilation Console; and (2) batch processing software to convert lineal data to raster for plotting. Included in the lineal to raster conversion software in addition to creating line weights is the capability to fill areas with a solid fill or pattern fill, to fill between contours of different elevations (elevation tints) to perform priority masking, and to generate point symbols and alphanumerics in raster format.
