Some Global Equilibrium Surfaces.

Abstract

Global equilibrium surface in three dimensions are described by elementary functions in closed form for models of loaded arches, struts and shells. They are computed and displayed graphically, in a form which shows their relation with cusp catastrophe potential. (Author)
