A Four-Law Logic Comment on Time, Quantum Change, and Universe Closure,

Abstract

From the fourth law of logic, the universe is both open and closed simultaneously, although unobservably so. When observation is operationally applied, the universe may appear exclusively open or exclusively closed, depending upon the conditions of applying the operational observation. The argument over whether space is positively or negatively curved, and hence closed or open, is therefore specious since the answer will vary depending on the logic which applies to the particular observational conditions.
