Dielectric Loaded Finned Waveguide Study.

Abstract

This report presents an analysis of rectangular waveguide with centered, zero thickness ridges (fins) backed by a dielectric substrate. Design curves are given for the 26.5-40 GHz and 40-60 GHz waveguide bands for the case where the dielectric has a thickness of 5 mils and epsilon sub r = 2.2. (Author)
