Pulsed Bates Testing.

Abstract

This experimental program was conducted to study the feasibility of pulsing a BATES motor and obtain combustion response data without interfering with motor performance measurement. The report details the testing performed using both piston and powder pulser and the resulting data. It was concluded that such testing is feasible and follow-on developments are planned. (Author)
