Survey of Pesticide Odor in Quarters, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, November 1976

Abstract

A reported pesticide odor was investigated at a quarters, Ft. Belvoir, VA. Soil and air samples were taken from under the building and air and wipe samples were taken from within the quarters. Results of sample analyses indicated abnormally high levels of chlordane. This problem is aggravated by standing water underneath the quarters.
