HEL Air Flow Test Stand Design Phase.

Abstract

This report summarizes the design study for an air flow test stand to provide this capability when integrated with a high powered laser (NACL) at the TRW Capistrano Test Site (CTS). The objective of the study was to synthesize a design which could be developed within the required time and allowable government budget and still provide the desired performance requirements. The following selections give the design alternatives and the rationale for the systems selected. A description of the components is given including a summary of their estimated costs.
