Prediction of Congregate-Care Space in Non-Metropolitan Counties.

Abstract

A procedure is presented for predicting the amount of congregate-care space existing in a non-metropolitan county prior to a facility survey. Estimates of accuracy and reliability are given, based on a 60-county sample from the 1975 DCPA host area survey. Suggestions are made for improvement. The procedure is not suitable for predicting the outcome of a partial survey. (Author)
