Research Activities in the Design and Maintenance of Sonar Transducers.

Abstract

This report summarizes research conducted since 1959 for the Navy Ship Systems Command. In the general area of improving the reliability of sonar transducers, three specific problem areas have been attacked: transducer improvement, maintenance engineering, and test and evaluation.
