Video Image Bandwidth Reduction/Compression Study.

Abstract

This report covers the development, simulation, evaluation, and implementation design of a video bandwidth reduction/compression technique for use in remotely piloted vehicle systems. The bandwidth reduction technique discussed is frame rate reduction. The range of frame rates from 8 per second to 1/4 per second are evaluated. (Author)
