Pulsed-Mode Enclosed-Wire Transducer Analysis.

Abstract

This report contains an analysis and design optimization for pulsed-mode, enclosed-wire transducer. Operating in the pulsed mode, time gating can be used to separate the signals from different portions of a wire-in-tube sensor. A single long transducer and one set of processing electronics can provide multiple range-channel outputs. This study was intended to provide a basis for the subsequent design and feasibility testing of a breadboard sensor.
