Analytical Review of Research Reports on Social Impacts of Water Resources Development Projects.

Abstract

This analytical review of research reports on the social impacts of water resources development projects is designed to assist planners in identifying and evaluating the impacts of project actions. It helps maximize the use of existing research results and methods by presenting summaries (of the research done to date) at various levels of generality. It also identifies the implicit patterns of research in the area and suggests questions for future research on the social impacts of project actions to address. (Author)
