Completeness Comparisons Among Sequences of Samples. II. Censoring from Above or Below, and General Censoring.

Abstract

Two sequences of samples are available, and it is known that just one sequence represents the remainder of original random samples which have been censored. Methods of deciding which sequence has been censored are described, for the cases of (a) censoring from above or below (b) general censoring. It is not necessary to know the population distribution of the observed characteristic to apply the method. There is some calculation and discussion of the accuracy of the methods. (Author)
