Analysis of Wave Spectra at Station 'KILO'. Supplement.

Abstract

This report presents the results of the analysis of a limited sample of wave spectra obtained for Station 'Kilo' in the North Atlantic (93 records). Correlation of measured parameters, such as wave height and period, with surface log data (wind speed, observed wave height) is presented. Wave spectra were grouped by height and by period and resulting average parameters compared. Plots are given of the spectral families. Because of the limited sample available for Station K, results are less conclusive than for Station I. (Author)
