Energy Conservation Through the Optimization of Hydraulic Power Supplies for the Six Degree of Freedom Motion System.

Abstract

The objective of this project was to estimate the approximate hydraulic fluid flow requirements for the six degree of freedom motion system of the type specified in MIL-STD-1558 and determine means by which motion hydraulic supplies can be cut, combined, or made more efficient. This paper defines the approach, data collection, analysis, and results of that project. (Author)
