Contouring and Hidden-Line Algorithms for Vector Graphic Displays.

Abstract

This report describes several computer graphics techniques developed by the authors to display the results of turbomachinery design and performance calculations. It begins with basic contour plotting, then shows the procedures for drawing three-dimensional figures with or without perspective and concludes with descriptions of two methods of removing hidden lines from three-dimensional scenes. Numerous examples and program listings are included. (Author)
