Proton Beam Pumping of High Pressure Gas Lasers.

Abstract

The application of proton beams of excite lasers, from gaseous elements under high pressure is proposed. It is pointed out that, using proton beams, higher laser power density can be obtained compared with current e-beam excited lasers. (Author)
