Investigation of GaAs Solar Cell Potential Performance and Cost.

Abstract

This report describes the results of a study which investigated GaAs solar cell potential performance and cost. The study included a literature survey, analyses of cell performance, cost and weapon hardness, and limited cell testing. From the completed study came an Air Force interpretation of the present development of GaAs solar cells and an assessment of their potential performance and cost.
