Color Coding--An Annotated Bibliography.

Abstract

Fifty-seven documents were annotated for the purpose of presenting current information on color coding research and other applications of color for use on television. This selective review includes, in addition to a written summary of the work, figures and tables from many of the publications to graphically illustrate or clarify key points. Numerous periodicals, books, and reports were reviewed. While the review is extensive, it is not comprehensive in that much of the theoretical and conceptual work done in the area was passed over in favor of applied research. The bibliography is arranged alphabetically by author. An author index and subject index are provided.
