Geometrical Problems with a Position Sensitive Detector Employed on a Diffractometer: Its Use in the Measurement of Stress.

Abstract

Defocussing errors associated with the use of a straight one dimensional position sensitive detector on a diffractometer are examined. Over a 10 deg. of 2 theta angular range the error is 0.02 deg. of 2 theta at worst. (Author)
