Subsystem Design Analysis Lightweight Alternator (Model Test Program). Addendum 2.

Abstract

This report discusses the test and computer simulation activities conducted on a modified-design, small-rating aircraft alternator. These activities were intended to provide additional verifications of the alternator analytical approach utilized in designing two specialized large-rating lightweight alternators. The latter designs have been previously detailed in Air Force technical reports AFWL-TR-75-66, Subsystem Design Analysis Report for Lightweight Alternator (AC Load Case), and AFWL-TR-75-66, Addendum 1, Subsystem Design Analysis Report for Lightweight Alternator (DC Load Case).
