Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present information on the human health aspects of water resources development in the Lower Mississippi Region. It discusses the health of man as it relates to such development directly through drinking water and recreational water, and indirectly through insects and other vectors which breed on the water and land of the region. The activities of State health agencies in the Lower Mississippi Region are analyzed and future needs in connection with health aspects of water resources development are outlined. (Author)
