Abstract

This document furnishes information on water supply and water pollution control needs in and adjacent to the Applachian region. Included in this document are a general appraisal of present and future water supply and water pollution control needs, and the ways and means of satisfying these needs. The document also includes detailed discussions of water supply and water quality control needs that can be satisfied from selected reservoir projects that are proposed for inclusion in the Appalachian Plan for Water Resources Development.
