Methods of Technological Forecasting,

Abstract

In response to a request by the NATO Military Committee to undertake a technology forecasting effort in the field of aerospace, AGARD first entered an initial phase during which it strove to improve its understanding of technology forecasting in order to possibly provide a more useful product to the Military Committee. One aspect of this was to examine if there were formal technology forecasting methodologies which could be applied beneficially to an AGARD exercise.
