A Note on Invariance under Superposed Rigid Body Motions.

Abstract

An important aspect in the determination of the material response functions, which may be represented as scalars, vectors or tensors, involves the use of appropriate invariance requirements under superposed rigid body motions. This note is concerned with these invariance requirements in which the relevant ideas are better motivated and are made more precise. (Author)
