The Merrimack: Designs for a Clean River. Alternatives for Managing Wastewater in the Merrimack River Basin.

Abstract

This feasibility study set out to: determine the nature and extent of the Merrimack River's pollution problem; develop and screen alternative technical solutions to that problem; and analyze the changes that the most likely of those solutions might make in the ecologic, hygienic, aesthetic, social, and economic character of the Merrimack Basin.
