The MASTER Program File, Methods and Models.

Abstract

The MASTER Program File is a collection of subprograms and data libraries used in solving radiation transport problems. This report describes methods and models used in the program. Program capabilities range from 1-dimensional problems through complex geometry, nonlinear, time-dependent problems. Particle physics models include primary and secondary photons, electrons, neutrons and heavy charged particles. Numerical methods include approximate transport kernels, direct numerical integration and MONTE CARLO quadratures. (Author)
