Job Family Scheduler

Abstract

The Job Family Scheduler (SJFM) is a utility program that permits the programmer to control the execution sequence for a series of logically related jobs, i.e., a job family. The job family is defined as a list of job names which is either a member of a partitioned data set or a sequential data set. Software Description : The program is written in the ALC programming language for implementation on an IBM 370/165 computer using the IBM/OS, version 21.8, MVT with HASP level operating system. 8K bytes of core storage are required to operate the program.
