Wastewater Management Study for the Cleveland - Akron Metropolitan and Three Rivers Watershed Areas. Appendix VI. Evaluation,

Abstract

In this Appendix the wastewater management alternatives developed for the Cleveland - Akron Metropolitan area are assessed for environmental impact. The process included the establishment of parameters and descriptions of current baseline conditions within the region for five categories: ecology, esthetics, public health, social well-being, and economics; assessment of impacts of each of twelve alternative wastewater management systems, including the recommendation of corrective actions to be considered by the design team; and the assessment of impacts of each of three representative systems, selected from the set of twelve systems on grounds of environmental suitability and relationship to the national objectives of national and regional economic development, social well-being, and environmental quality.
