A Comparison Between Ground Based and Aircraft Borne Triangulation of Chemical Releases in the Lower Thermosphere.

Abstract

Chemical release wind profiles from three rockets as measured by both ground based and aircraft borne triangulation are compared. The potential of aircraft observations as an alternative to ground based in overcast conditions is confirmed. (Author)
