An Analysis of Variance Program for 2 to the n-th Power and 3 to the n-th power Factorial Experiments,

Abstract

Modulo Analysis of Variance (MOD-ANOVA) is a computer program for 2 to the n-th power and 3 to the n-th power full or fractional factorial experiments. The program applies modular arithmetic to cell identification numbers to classify and sum the observations. MOD-ANOVA is fast and efficient and is extremely simple in structure. The complete program contains less than 130 lines of code. The program is written in FORTRAN V and is operational on the UNIVAC 1108 computer, but it should be transferable to any computer compatible with FORTRAN.
