VCG Measurement and Display.

Abstract

Obtaining measurements from patient vectorcardiograms is a tedious and time-consuming procedure. This report describes a computer-assisted method to derive the interval amplitude and angular measurements used by vectorcardiologist to evaluate a patient vectorcardiogram. The computer also prepares graphic displays which have much better resolution than the conventional Polaroid photographs. All measurements are made on the same beat rather than having each planar projection and loop from a different beat as in the photographic method. (Author)
