COS/MOS 850 Current Meter Report.

Abstract

The COS/MOS 850 current meter is a burst sampling instrument designed to measure current speed, direction, and average water temperature. The instrument utilizes the major components of the Geodyne model 850 current meter; with most of the electronics replaced by COS/MOS integrated circuits. This report describes the operation and the maintenance requirements of the COS/MOS instrument. (Author)
