Abstract

The purposes of this study are: To review current directives, reports, factors, and criticisms, that determine the current structure and methodology for test and evaluation within the Navy; To determine the existence of overtesting or inadequate testing, and the emphasis on Operational Test and Evaluation, which affect the acquisition of weapon systems in the Naval Air Systems Command; and To examine the extent and effectiveness of integrated testing.
