Computer-Generated Displays Added to HEL Helicopter Operational Trainer.

Abstract

A Singer-Link Helicopter Operational Trainer has been interfaced with the U.S. Army Human Engineering Laboratory's Command Control Simulator computer to provide the helicopter trainer with real-time computer generated cathode-ray-tube imaging displays. This report discusses the equipment configuration, data collection, displays and the hardware and software problems associated with this development. (Author)
